Animalicious is an incredible opportunity for children to experience the wonders of the animal kingdom through the art of clever puppetry and state of the art costuming, set to a funny and entertaining score. Come and witness fairy penguins dancing, rosellas flying, and even hear the roar of lions in this clever, all-human animal experience. Sand Sculpting Australia – Friends, Foes & Super Heroes

For four months from Boxing Day 2014, the Frankston Waterfront will be again transformed as over 3,500 tonnes of sand is carved into spectacular sculptures as Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters come to life in large scale sand sculptures.
You will be amazed as the likes of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, all of the Disney Princesses including Princess Elsa and Anna from Frozen come to life in front of your eyes.

Integrated with the sculptures will be children’s activities including Sand Sculpting Workshops, Sand Art, Sand Bottles, Sand Diggers, Giant Sand Pit, Children’s Activity Sheet and an interactive Lego Play Zone, Channel 9 Summer Chill Zone and Disney Activity Zone.

Water to Water Festival

The Inaugural Baany to Warrna Ngargee is a ground-breaking Indigenous music and cultural festival in the glorious Briars Park, Mt Martha, Mornington Peninsula.

The festival is a non-profit endeavour designed to promote cross-cultural awareness, bringing Indigenous and non-Indigenous people together in a vibrant, family friendly outdoor event where Indigenous music, art, dance and culture will be showcased.

The program is packed with local and inter-state Indigenous premiers, there will also be local traditional and contemporary dancers, children’s activities and more!

The Briars Historic Park is in the picturesque Mornington Peninsula; a comfortable 45 minute drive from Melbourne.

Parking is available on-site in exchange for a gold coin donation.

This is an outdoor event and will proceed rain, hail or shine. Bring your picnic rug, chairs and the whole family and immerse yourself in this cultural experience amidst the gorgeous surrounds of the Briars Park.

Mornington Winter Jazz Festival

Queens Birthday weekend 6th and 9th of June 2015

Street Corners, bars, restaurants and parks will come alive again over the Queen’s Birthday Weekend with the sights and sounds of the Mornington Winter Jazz Festival. The 2014 line-up included some big national artists such as the exquisite Katie Noonan and her 3 piece band Elixr, the ever famous Vince Jones and world renowned Paul Grabowsky who featured alongside The Scott Tinkler Quartet in Mornington Cinema.

In addition to the ticketed events and dinner shows, FREE jazz and music performances were held in venues and locations across Mornington all weekend. The program features a mix of young swing and jazz musicians, VCA music students and host of local artists.

Winter Wine Weekend
