Crestview retains its original charm with lots of modern extras. This beautiful property is where your Mornington Peninsula holiday begins. Conveniently located a short walk to Rye bay beach and a short drive to Rye ocean beach, this 3 bedroom house located in a quiet pocket of Rye, has 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and extensive outdoor entertaining areas that are child and pet friendly. The outdoor entertaining area adds a touch of class with seating for 10 and a gabion area overlooking the native trees.
The blanketed windows capture the gorgeous garden surrounds in the elevated kitchen and living areas. The bottom level doors open up to the large grassy yard surrounding the home where children can play to their hearts content, or pets can relax in the sunshine.
The 2nd level decking area is perfect for beautiful sunsets over-looking Crestview’s native treetops and Rye’s distant valley.
Crestview has board games, DVDs, fast WIFI internet, an Apple TV and books to enjoy as you curl up in front of a wood fire heater or sit in the landscaped gabian wall sections of the garden.

Loving the food at Cakes and Ale
Oh yeah finally a bit of Melbourne has come to the Peninsula with the opening of Cakes and Ale. One of my favourite restaurants was the Panama Dining Room who have just opened up Cakes and Ale in true fashion they’ve stuck with the upscale bistro dishes. Not sure if they do the cocktails but you have to order the Pork Schnitzel if a meat eater and the twice baked soufflé if a vegetarian.
